The death of ASTRO's Moonbin brings sadness to family, relatives, fans, especially fellow ASTRO members. Even though he was no longer part of ASTRO when Moonbin died, Rocky still couldn't swallow the bitter pill of losing one of his closest friends.
Rocky stated this in a recent interview. Rocky, who is now debuting as a soloist, opened his voice about Moonbin's death. For him, that moment is still so painful that it is difficult to digest and understand. "Honestly, Moonbin's death was a very painful experience," said Rocky.
"I think the pain was so great that it was difficult for me to understand. I think I also let it go in my way," he continued. Rocky's longing for Moonbin even led to dreams. Before the release of his solo album entitled ROCKYST, Rocky said that Moonbin met him through a dream.
He was then asked how Moonbin would react if he were still alive and listening to Rocky's solo debut. Rocky answered this question by looking back to the days when they were still training together before ASTRO's debut. "Moonbin came to my dream before, (about my album) I think he would just nod with a smile.
We grew up together, in the past we always fought if there was something to fight about. Even though we didn't open up to each other about the problem, time eventually resolved it everything. Moonbin is not the type of person who will say cool things, I think he will smile and nod," said Rocky.
ASTRO's Moonbin was found dead in his apartment last April. Meanwhile, Rocky will leave the management of Fantagio and the ASTRO group in early 2023. In the same interview, the singer, who is now under his own management called One Fine Day Entertainment, admitted that he had reached a dead end in his career.
Rocky admitted that he was tired of the entertainment industry and confused about what to do. However, after much thought, he finally chose to continue as an artist. Now Lucky Rocky's newest song can be heard on all streaming platforms.
