Artist from Taiwan, Aaron Yan, caused a stir because of the rape accusations made by YouTuber Yao Le. Yao Le admitted that she was 16 years old when she was forced to have sex. Apart from that, the singer and actor was also accused of taking their exciting video without permission which was circulated in 2018.
This matter was apparently brought to court and the latest news is that he has been officially charged with sexual exploitation. Aaron Yan, whose real name is Wu Keng Lin, is a singer and actor from Taiwan who has existed in the entertainment world since 2005.
This 37 year old man is known as a member of the group Fahrenheit. Aaron himself was discovered by a producer after he uploaded a photo on a blog in 2004. Not long after, he began starring in various dramas and releasing albums.
Before the case with Yao Le or Raku became a sensation, rumors had circulated that the man was gay but it was never clearly explained. Because of this, the case with Yao Lee was quite surprising to the public. In his confession, Yao Le said he was not only forced to have sex but also recorded without permission.
Reported by Kbizoom, local media stated that the Shihlin District Prosecutor's Office, Taiwan, had named Aaron Yan as a defendant in accordance with regulations preventing sexual exploitation of teenagers. In that case, Aaron was accused of illegally taking sexual videos from minors.
Previously, the man was also accused of violating sexual anatomy, including committing sexual violence against minors. But the accusation was not continued because there was insufficient evidence. It was reported that Aaron and Yao Le's relationship broke down a long time ago because the singer was discovered to have three other girlfriends.
But in her press conference, Yao Le said she had also been threatened with their sex videos and therefore wanted to demand accountability. At that time, Aaron surprisingly came there which received criticism from the public.
After that, Taiwanese police began investigating the case. The police have also searched Aaron's house and studio to look for other evidence. He is now required to provide bail of 500,000 yuan (Rp. 1 billion) and is prohibited from leaving the country.
