SM Entertainment's new boy group RIIZE has removed all traces of member Seunghan, who was involved in a 'private life controversy '. After Seunghan officially went on hiatus for an indefinite period of time, it now appears that Seunghan's debut video has been deleted.
On November 27, 2023, as reported by Naver, a video showing the process of RIIZE members preparing for their debut in August 2023 was uploaded to the official online channel. It is known, RIIZE is a newcomer who debuted in September and has not even reached 100 days.
In the video released, we can see the debut process of the six members: Sungchan, Eunseok, Wonbin, Sohee, Anton, and Shota. However, Seunghan's figure in the video was not found. Although the video was recorded before activities stopped, all of Seunghan's performances were removed from the recording, including the dancing scenes and debut showcase.
Not even their voices could be heard, and there were no scenes with the six people except Seunghan. Meanwhile, on November 22, 2023, SM Entertainment announced that Seunghan apologized and reflected on his fans as well as the team and members due to issues related to his personal life.
He has caused controversies such as 'Smoking on the street', 'Leaked video of indiscreet remarks', and 'Leaked photo of kissing with past girlfriend'. SM Entertainment announced that Seunghan decided to take an 'indefinite hiatus' from his activities due to a sense of emotional burden and responsibility.
Now RIIZE will be active with six members excluding Seunghan. However, Seunghan did not leave the group but is currently on an indefinite hiatus. If examined, Seunghan's photo was also removed from the highlights of RIIZE's official social networking service.
