All TEEN TOP members said goodbye to TOP Media management. Their contract with management had ended and they chose not to renew it. On Thursday December 28, 2023 TOP Media management issued an official statement.
Explaining that two TEEN TOP members who were still under their management, namely Ricky and Chunji, chose to leave. "We would like to inform fans who love TEEN TOP that our exclusive contract with Chunji and Ricky has ended," they said in the statement.
"We thank Chunji and Ricky who have grown up with us since their debut and we ask that the public continue to give them love and attention in the future," continued management. Chunji and Ricky are the next members to leave TOP Media.
Two years ago, Niel and Changjo did not renew their contracts with management. Even so, TEEN TOP will remain under this management if they make a comeback in the future. Like recently, TEEN TOP released another song after a long hiatus.
"Regarding TEEN TOP's future activities, our management agreed that Chunji, Niel, Ricky, and Changjo will continue together as a four-member group, continuing to return fans' love through music and performances in the future," concluded management.
It has not been announced which management Ricky and Chunji will join. Meanwhile, Niel previously joined a new agency called NEW ENTRY. Meanwhile, Changjo is currently undergoing mandatory military duty.
