After on Saturday January 6, 2024 his figure brightened up the 2024 Golden Disc Awards stage at the Jakarta International Stadium, now Cha Eun Woo has appeared with plans for a solo debut. Fantagio announced that the ASTRO member will release his solo album this year.
"Cha Eun Woo is preparing his first solo album with plans for release in the first half of 2024," said Fantagio management in a statement seen by SPOTV News on Wednesday January 10, 2024. In Fantagio's official statement, Cha Eun Woo also announced plans to listen to his solo songs to fans.
In particular, he will sing these songs at a fan-con event which will be held next month. "In particular, he is preparing with the aim of unveiling the songs from his solo album for the first time at the fan-con which will be held on February 17, 2024 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium," continued Fantagio.
Even though Cha Eun Woo has been doing a lot of activities on his own outside the ASTRO group, this is his solo debut as a singer. He is better known as an actor who plays many popular Korean dramas, including True Beauty. Cha Eun Woo's solo debut was 8 years after his debut as an ASTRO member in 2016.
Currently, Cha Eun Woo is also preparing for a fan-con tour in Asia entitled 2024 Just One 10 Minute which will open at Jamsil Indoor Stadium as explained by Fantagio. Jakarta will get this fancom on April 20, 2024.
Cha Eun Woo fans in Jakarta will have the opportunity to listen to Cha Eun Woo's solo songs in a special way later! At the 2024 Golden Disc Awards, Cha Eun Woo appeared as MC with Sung Si Kyung. He also had time to show off his vocal skills through a duet with the South Korean ballad soloist.
