At the beginning of February 2024, Korean drama fans will again be presented with a new Netflix original drama entitled A Killer Paradox .A Killer Paradox is a drama that combines the thriller and black comedy genres which brings together two top actors, namely Choi Woo Shik and Son Suk Ku.
The drama A Killer Paradox is adapted from a webtoon of the same name which tells the story of an ordinary man named Lee Tang who accidentally kills a serial killer. As a result, he became the target of detectives' pursuit due to the incident.
In this drama, actor Choi Woo Shik plays Lee Tang who is an ordinary student. Lee Tang realizes that he has bad guy abilities after his first accidental murder. On the other hand, actor Son Suk Ku plays a detective named Jang Nam Gam who is constantly around Lee Tang.
Jang Nam Gam, who is a detective, has the intuition and instincts of an animal in hunting his targets. On Thursday January 11, 2024, YouTube Netflix Korea released the first teaser for the drama A Killer Paradox which lasts 1 minute 9 seconds.
In the teaser, it shows Choi Woo Shik who lives a languid and boring life as an ordinary student who works part time as a minimarket cashier. One night, he accidentally met someone who suddenly attacked him and he accidentally killed him. Then the text "The Killed, the Killer" appears.
The trailer footage then continues, there are a number of scenes of Choi Woo Shik several times holding a hammer aimed at someone. Next, actor Son Suk Ku who plays a detective appears to investigate several serial murders. He is described as a detective who likes to chew gum.
The drama A Killer Paradox itself will air on February 9, 2024 on the Netflix application. The director behind this drama is Lee Chang Hee, who previously directed the drama Strangers from Hell and the film The Vanished. The screenplay was written by a rookie writer named Kim Da Min.
