The weekly music event ' Show Champion ' is back with its newest episode this week. To be precise, Wednesday April 3, 2024. For this episode, 5 song candidates were selected to compete for first place.
Among them are ' Smoothie ' from NCT Dream , 'Magnetic' by ILLIT, 'Welcome to the Show' by Day6, 'I'll be by your side' by Davichi, and 'Superwoman' by UNIS. Quoting from the X Kpop Music Show Analysis social media account on Thursday April 4, 2024, NCT Dream came out as first winner with their newest song 'Smoothie'.
'Smoothie' managed to collect around 7210 points. The second position was achieved by the rookie group ILLIT through their debut song 'Magnetic' which managed to achieve a score of 6977 points. Next, third place was won by the song 'Welcome to the Show' by the band Day6, which successfully collected a score of 3586 points.
Followed by Davichi's song 'I'll be by your side' which was in fourth place with a score of 1810 points. Lastly in fifth position is the girl group UNIS with their debut song 'Superwoman' which managed to collect a score of 1383 points.
This is NCT Dream's first win at the weekly music event for the song 'Smoothie' since they started promotions last week. Even though they were not present in person to receive their first winning trophy on the 'Show Champion' stage, the NCT Dream members expressed their gratitude to their fans through posts on their social media accounts.
Apart from announcing NCT Dream as the winner of this week's edition, the weekly music event 'Show Champion' was also enlivened by a number of cool stage performances from other K-Pop idols. Both the debut performance and the latest comeback song.
Among them were appearances from ILLIT, Lucas, UNIS, Purple Kiss, P1Harmony, The New Six, Ampers&One, Young Posse, Candy Shop, n.SSign, and Minseo. Once again, congratulations to NCT Dream for their first win for the song 'Smoothie' at the weekly music event 'Show Champion'. NCT Dream will continue to promote the song 'Smoothie' at other weekly music events until the end of this week.
