Unpleasant news came from one of the members of the South Korean boy group NCT Dream, namely Chenle. Chenle recently suffered an ankle injury while promoting NCT Dream's latest album comeback on the weekly music stage.

Following his injury, Chenle was forced to appear sitting and not do choreography when appearing on the weekly music stage this week. Quoting from the nct_vibe Instagram account on Thursday April 4, 2024, the agency announced that Chenle would reduce strenuous activities such as dancing to prevent more serious injuries.

"Chenle suffered a minor injury to his right ankle during recent activities, and we have decided that it would be best to avoid performances that involve excessive movement," said SM Entertainment. They continued, “So, he will be sitting in for an appearance on a music broadcast scheduled for this week.

We ask for understanding from fans.” Chenle is known to have suffered an injury while appearing on the SBS weekly music stage 'Inkigayo' last week. Several fans shared video footage on social media where the idol accidentally slipped on the stage.

In the live broadcast segment, Chenle was also seen leaning on another member and dragging his feet while walking. He then checked into the hospital and informed fans that he had a minor ankle injury and asked them not to worry.

Even so, fans still expressed their worry and hoped that the Chinese idol would recover quickly so he could return to his normal activities. " Get well soon, Chenle ," said one fan. " The 'Glitch Mode' era is happening again. Chenle was injured during promotions, his legs are healthy ," said another fan. " I'm really crying, Chenle, I hope he recovers quickly ," said another fan.

" Wow, it feels like deja vu. Get well soon, Chenle ," commented one fan. Meanwhile, NCT Dream will continue to promote on the weekly music stage this week. Such as appearing on M Countdown, Music Bank, Music Core, and Inkigayo until this weekend. Once again, I wish Chenle a speedy recovery.
