The latest news comes from the new boy group from the JYP Entertainment agency, NEXZ, which will soon debut on Monday May 20, 2024. Adapted from Allkpop on Monday May 20, 2024, the boy group expressed their feelings when NEXZ debuted, revealing that they felt pressured because they were the first boy group to debut after 6 years of seniors, Stray Kids .

“We feel the pressure of being the first boy group to debut in six years since Stray Kids.” NEXZ said. They made this statement when holding a showcase at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to commemorate the release of their debut single entitled 'Ride the Vibe'. NEXZ itself is the first boy group introduced by JYP in about six years since Stray Kids.

This group was formed through the joint audition program 'Nizi Project' Season 2 by JYP Entertainment and Japan's largest record label, Sony Music, in 2023. This group consists of seven members, namely Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, Soken, Seita, Huey, and Yuki. Meanwhile, their average age is 17 years and is characterized by the unique strengths of Generation Z.

Another interesting thing about this group is that Soken is the only member who comes from Korea, while the other members are Japanese. The six members from Japan also revealed that they are working hard in learning Korean and asked the public to view them favorably.

"We are working very hard in learning Korean. Please look at us well," said NEXZ. The group name 'NEXZ' itself is an abbreviation of 'Next Z(G)eneration', and was created personally by JYP's chief producer and 'Nizi Project' judge, Park Jin Young . This name embodies their ambition to lead the next era with the music and performances of Gen Z members.

Meanwhile, NEXZ's debut song entitled 'Ride the Vibe' will create a unique atmosphere because of its diverse and experimental sound variations. The song is expected to invite listeners to join them in the atmosphere to capture the excitement, anxiety, and thrill that comes with debut. The song 'Ride the Vibe' itself will be officially released this Monday May 25, 2024 at 6 pm.
