Kim Min Seok, a South Korean actor who made his acting debut by appearing in the drama Shut Up: Flower Boy Band in 2012. His name became widely known after playing roles in the dramas Descendants of the Sun and Doctors.
Now, the man who was born on January 24, 1990 is known to have starred in a number of Korean dramas and films. His latest drama entitled My Military Valentine will premiere on June 7 2024. Including My Military Valentine, here are four Korean dramas starring Kim Min Seok as the main character.
1.Because This Is My First Life (2017)
Because This Is My First Life tells the story of Nam Se Hee (Lee Min Ki), a single man who rents out one of the rooms in his apartment to Yoon Ji Ho (Jung So Min). The two of them lived together and finally decided to have a contract marriage. As time goes by, Nam Se Hee and Yoon Ji Ho fall in love with each other.
In this drama, Kim Min Seok plays Sim Won Seok, a programmer who is in a special relationship with Yoon Ji Ho's best friend, Yang Ho Rang (Kim Ga Eun). Even though they had been dating for a long time, Kim Min Seok never married Yang Ho Rang, which ultimately caused problems in their relationship.
2. Lovestruck in the City (2020)
Lovestruck in the City tells the story of Lee Eun Oh (Kim Ji Won) who works as a freelance marketer. While traveling, he met Park Jae Won (Ji Chang Wook). Eun Oh introduces herself as Yoon Sun Ah who has a free spirit.
Park Jae Won is an architect who is passionate and honest. Lee Eun Oh finally fell in love with him. Meanwhile, Kim Min Seok plays a character named Choi Kyung Joon who also works as an architect.
3. Delivery Man (2023)
Delivery Man tells the story of Seo Young Min (Yoon Chan Young), a taxi driver who often helps ghosts. Not alone, when carrying out his actions he was assisted by the spirit of Kang Ji Hyun (Bang Min Ah).
Then, Seo Young Min also received help from Do Kyu Jin (Kim Min Seok), a handsome ER doctor who is a workaholic. They work together to grant the wishes of ghosts and even chase a serial killer.
4. My Military Valentine (2024)
After decades of tension, peace has finally been achieved on the Korean peninsula. As a sign of the start of a new peaceful era, Lloyd (Kim Min Seok), who is a top South Korean star, goes to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) to perform a concert.
However, a misunderstanding occurred which forced one of the North Korean special forces soldiers named Baek Young Ok (Nam Gyu Ri) to intervene. Then, someone immortalized the interaction between Lloyd and Baek Young Ok until the public finally interpreted it as a romantic moment.
A scandal broke out and Lloyd's fans were also angry. When he was in despair, Lloyd decided to join the military. Then, he confirmed that he was in the unit led by Baek Young Ok.
