The drama 'Because Oppa's House Is Empty' is a modern romantic drama that explores the cohabitation scandal between Cha Eun Myung, a third generation chaebol, and top star Jae Joon Young. The story is based on the web novel of the same name by Tae So Young, which was adapted into a popular webtoon by Lee Seo Hee.
After a conflict with her stepmother, Cha Eun Myung runs away and seeks refuge at her friend Hee Young's older brother's house. While taking a shower, Eun Myung suddenly meets Hee Young's brother, who happens to be none other than film star Jae Joon Young.
