ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin again enlivened the public by providing the latest collaboration code from NewJeans with Tony Leung. This code can be seen in his latest upload on social media which shows the CEO taking a selfie with the famous actor from Hong Kong.
Reported by Korea JoongAng Daily on Wednesday June 19, 2024, Min Hee-jin and Tony Leung were seen taking photos with a green screen as a background. This photo raised questions from the public who believed that the two were preparing a new video.
Min Hee-jin also added a short caption to the upload, saying, "See you soon." The news of this collaboration comes after Min Hee-jin did something similar when working with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, Apple Vice President Tor Myhren, and musician and fashion brand founder Hiroshi Fujiwara.
If the news is true, this will be NewJeans' second collaboration with Tony Leung, who previously appeared in the Cool with You music video. The actor is even said to have agreed to appear in the NewJeans project without payment. According to him, the collaboration was a gift for fans in South Korea.
"I met nice people and wanted to give a small gift to Korean fans," said Tony Leung, reported by iMBC on Thursday June 20, 2024. Even though he appeared briefly in the music video, Tony Leung attracted the public's attention with his strong charisma and succeeded in providing an implied message for the character played by Jung Ho-yeon.
Jung Ho-yeon in the music video plays Eros who chooses love over her status as a goddess. When he managed to live with his lover, Tony Leung appeared and made Eros afraid. On the other hand, the girl group NewJeans is rumored to be opening a pop-up store from June 26 to July 10 with the theme of their latest Japanese single entitled Supernatural.
The group consisting of five talented girls is also scheduled to attend the debut showcase and meet and greet entitled Bunnie Camp which will be held at Tokyo Dome on June 26 and 27, 2024. NewJeans is even said to be preparing for a world concert tour which will be held in 2025.
