Recently, South Korean actor Park Sung Hoon officially announced his collaboration with one of the fast food products, Burger King. It was known through a shared video showing him acting with the word "Ragu." In addition, Sung Hoon also wrote the caption "Coming Soon."

It is known that the fast food brand Burger King is included in the four brands that are openly mentioned in the Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. Reports suggest that the Israeli franchise of this chain provided free food to the Israeli military while they were engaged in attacks on Palestine.

Although many people like Park Sung Hoon's voice and his acting in the Korean drama Queen of Tears which is good in the video. However, many fans also felt disappointed with the collaboration. They felt this way because Burger King was seen as supporting Israel.

Sung Hoon's endorsement promotion post was flooded with negative comments from disappointed fans. Many urged him to respect the boycott of products suspected of supporting Israel, as a form of showing humanitarian solidarity with Palestine.

"The fans are the ones who boycott, so that people start to care about the artist and their agency. Don't join the fan meet, or buy their merch, add educational comments but keep the language polite so that everyone starts to be aware. Free Palestine ????????," wrote a netizen's comment.

"South Korea is really not aware of boycotting. Whoever is a fan of this actor, just boycott his brand while continuing to provide education if the brand they are collaborating with is boycotted. So there is no need for hate comments, be a wise fan," replied another comment.

"Mianhe oppa, I can't follow you anymore, you choose them, I will choose Palestine [sic!]," his fans said firmly. "Please stop this. You know they don't like you. From the '#QueenofTears' series, and now you announce a Burger King ad with Israel[sic!]," he added.

The Park Sung Hoon controversy has also surfaced on other social media platforms. Many argue that the brands being boycotted are specifically targeting the Korean entertainment industry to capitalize on the stars’ global fan base. "I'm annoyed with these Korean artists. They're really tone deaf.

Even though the management told them to at least speak up. Unless the shooting was before the boycott. Now this ????. Don't want double standards. Now anyone who promotes a boycott of a product must be reprimanded. "Later he can talk to management so that in the future he won't use it again," said a netizen.
