SHINee's Onew recently visited TWICE's Jeongyeon and appeared as a guest on the talk show she hosted on YouTube content titled ' The Inspector ' on Saturday July 27, 2024. The latest episode of 'The Inspector' with senior guest star SHINee's Onew was given a unique title, namely "Meeting Onew for the First Time.

"This is a pitcher's glove. In 2010 or 2011, I had vocal cord surgery and couldn't speak for more than 6 months," Onew explained, starting the touching story behind the baseball glove he brought. "During that hiatus, I bought this baseball glove and spent the next 6 months throwing the ball in silence.
I can say that this glove became a special friend that helped me through the anxiety, loneliness, and hardships that I was going through," added the singer of the song 'Dice'. Meanwhile, Onew previously underwent surgery to remove vocal cord polyps and restore his voice, which caused him to stop performing activities.
During that time, he worked hard in rehabilitation, and relearned how to produce sound from scratch. In other news, Onew is currently busy preparing for his third mini album comeback titled 'Flow' which will be released in September.
The idol has also just held a series of fanmeeting tours titled 'Guess?' in several major cities in Asia since last May. Onew is also scheduled to appear on several stages of the 'Waterbomb 2024' concert tour in Osaka, Nagoya, and Suwon next August 2024.
