SHINee's Taemin will most likely be the host of the new season of Mnet's survival program 'Road to Kingdom'! In response to News1's report on July 3, a source from Mnet shared, "Taemin is positively in talks to serve as an MC for the new season of 'Road to Kingdom'."
Although Taemin previously appeared as a mentor on KBS 2TV's 'Idol Rebooting Project - The Unit', this is his first time hosting a survival program alone, so expectations are high for 'MC Taemin''s' performance.
Previously in June, 'Road to Kingdom' announced that it would undergo a major reorganization and rebranding to become an independent brand to highlight rising K-pop boy groups and introduce new benefits for winning teams.
It was further reported that CRAVITY, xikers, THE NEW SIX, 8TURN, YOUNITE, ATBO, and TEMPEST will be joining the contestant lineup. ONEUS is also in talks to join the show after their appearance in the first season.
