tvN's latest Korean drama titled ' Love Next Door ' is preparing for its premiere in August. 'Love Next Door' is directed by Yoo Je Won, the director behind the successful dramas 'Hometown Cha Cha Cha', 'Crash Course in Romance', 'Hi Bye Mama', 'Tomorrow With You', and many more, while the script is written by writer Shin Ha Eun of 'Hometown Cha Cha Cha' and 'The Crowned Clown'.

This drama stars Jung Hae In, Jungh So Min, Kim Ji Eun, Yun Ji On, Park Ji Young, Jo Han Chul, and many more. Before it officially airs, let's see the synopsis of 'Love Next Door'. Carrying the romantic comedy genre, 'Love Next Door' tells the story of a man and a woman who have known each other since the age of 4 because their mothers were friends.

They are Choi Seung Hyo (Jung Hae In) and Bae Seok Ryu (Jung So Min). Choi Seung Hyo is a young and talented architect who runs his own architecture studio. Despite having a nearly perfect life, Choi Seung Hyo has a moment he wants to erase from his life involving Bae Seok Ryu.

On the other hand, Bae Seok Ryu's life was smooth sailing after he became an adult. He excelled academically in school and after graduating from university, he got a job at a big company. However, for some reason, Bae Seok Ryu quit his job and became unemployed.

The released teaser video reveals the current lives of Choi Seung Hyo and Bae Seok Ryu, who unexpectedly reunite, bringing up each other's embarrassing past. Choi Seung Hyo introduces Bae Seok Ryu as “the first crazy person I met in my life” and complains, “Ever since I got involved with you, not a single day has been normal.”

Bae Seok Ryu’s description of Seung Hyo as “just my mom’s friend’s son” deepens curiosity about their relationship, leaving it unclear whether theirs is a close friendship or a love-hate dynamic. 'Love Next Door' is scheduled to premiere on August 17, 2024, every Saturday and Sunday at 21:20 KST, replacing the drama slot 'The Auditors'. Stay tuned, okay!
