Two members of the K-pop group BTS, Jungkook and V have filed a lawsuit against controversial Korean YouTuber, Sojang. So far, Sojang has often spread baseless rumors about K-pop idols on his channel. Call them IVE's Jang Wonyoung, BTS's Jungkook, and BTS's RM.

Previously in 2021, BTS's Jungkook was rumored to be dating Korean drama actor Yumi's Cells, Lee Yu Bi. According to Sojang's narration in the video, Jungkook and Lee Yu Bi have known each other since 2018. However, they only expressed their feelings for each other after three years.

BTS's Jungkook and Lee Yu Bi are said to be doing lovestagrams. The actress once wore a filter with a purple heart emoji that is closely related to BTS. That year, Lee Yu Bi also revealed that she listened to Jungkook's solo song, Euphoria on Instagram.

Following the report, Lee Yu Bi's agency, Y-Bloom Entertainment released an official statement to refute rumors of her dating BTS's Jungkook. The rumor is considered absurd because Lee Yu Bi does not know BTS's Jungkook personally.

"That (rumor) is unfounded. The news of Lee Yu Bi and Jungkook's dating is absurd. They had never met, and did not know each other. Among the BTS personnel, Lee Yu Bi knew Suga, but that was a long time ago. We don't even know if they are still in touch now," said Lee Yu Bi's agency as reported by Soompi.

Shortly after, BTS's Jungkook agency, HYBE also denied rumors of his dating with Lee Yu Bi. HYBE is also ready to take legal action against YouTuber Sojang. Meanwhile, BTS's V is rumored to be dating the daughter of the president of the Paradise Group company, Phillip Jeon. BTS's V was also highlighted wearing a bracelet released by his brand.

According to an exclusive Star News report on Friday August 16, 2024, BTS's V and Jungkook filed a lawsuit against YouTuber Sojang for 90 million won in March 2024. Five months later, the Seoul Western District Court will hold the first hearing of the report to be held on August 23, 2024.

BTS's V and Jungkook's agency sued YouTuber Sojang for defamation and insults. BTS's V himself even talked about this problem to fans on the Weverse communication platform. "Oh? I'm going to take legal action. I'll get some money to buy snacks.

You even annoyed my family and friends. Goodbye," said BTS's V as reported by Star News. "After I looked around, it turned out that other artists didn't like this person either, not just us. Regardless of whether the fans and ARMY are monitoring this or not, I will take action against them but I can't speak up. I will file a lawsuit," he concluded.
