Selena Gomez has spoken up again about her body condition which has become a public topic of conversation. Her appearance was discussed after she appeared at the premiere of her latest film, Emilia Perez. Many fans on social media were talking about Selena Gomez's appearance at the premiere.

Gomez revealed she was diagnosed with SIBO when discussing the comments. According to NME , the singer had responded to a comment in a video that said her pose at the premiere suggested Gomez was embarrassed about her body. The content creator also said Gomez looked like she wanted to hide herself.

“This makes me sick. I have SIBO on the inside and it’s flaring up. I don’t care if I don’t look like a stick figure,” Selena Gomez wrote. “I don’t have that body. Period. No, I’m not a victim. I’m just a human being,” Gomez wrote. The video was deleted after Selena Gomez wrote her comment. SIBO is a condition of increased bacteria in the digestive tract.

If left untreated, SIBO can lead to complications with consequences such as malabsorption of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates leading to nutritional and vitamin deficiencies. Selena Gomez has previously spoken about her physical condition of autoimmune lupus. In 2017, she received a transplant and underwent chemotherapy.

Benny Blanco's lover also revealed that she was actively taking medication because of her illness and it caused her body condition to not be able to shrink. Despite her health condition, Gomez has been busy with acting after admitting to taking a break from music. She returned with the latest season of Only Murders in the Building and the film Emilia Perez.
