According to Spotify records on September 3, 2024, Jimin's second solo album 'MUSE' surpassed 1 billion streams in just 47 days since its release, making it the fastest and only K-pop solo album in 2024.
Jimin is now the first K-pop solo artist to have two albums surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify, following his first solo album 'FACE' released in March last year. This is an incredible record that Jimin has achieved in just 1 year and 6 months since his solo debut.
Jimin, who was last year certified by Guinness World Records as the K-pop solo artist with the shortest time to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify (393 days), continued to set incredible records as a solo singer by recording 2 billion streams on his personal profile in just 264 days as of September 3, 2024.
The title track 'Who' from the album 'MUSE', which became the catalyst for its popularity, recorded 9,059,651 streams on Spotify as of September 3, 2024, ranked 4th on the Global Daily Top Song Chart and recorded over 454.92 million streams overall.
In addition to maintaining the top spot on the Spotify Daily Top Song chart in Korea and Japan, the song also stayed in the Top 10 for over 42 days by ranking at No. 3 on the US Daily Top Song with over 1.96 million streams as of September 3, 2024.
