BTS's RM and Megan Thee Stallion have finally released the first teaser for their highly anticipated collaboration! On September 2, 2024 at midnight KST, Megan Thee Stallion officially announced that she will be releasing a new single featuring RM 'Neva Play' on September 6, 2024.
He expressed his expectations by saying, “The lyrics that RM wrote this time are some of the best lyrics I’ve ever heard from him. This is the first time I’ve heard RM rap in this style.” Megan Thee Stallion's musical relationship with BTS began in 2021 when she featured on a remix of the group's song 'Butter'.
In November of the same year, on the second day of BTS's 'Permission to Dance on Stage in LA' concert at SoFi Stadium, Megan made a surprise appearance and showed their special closeness. RM, who is currently serving in the military, has shown his solid presence through the music he produced before his enlistment.
The music video for 'LOST!', the title track of RM's 2nd solo album 'Right Place, Wrong Person', was recently recognized for its artistic quality by winning the Cinematography category at the 2024 Berlin Commercial Awards.
