Cosmetic brand L’Occitane Korea announced that it has issued an employee who leaked exposure photos of Ambassador SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu. On September 3, 2024, L’Occitane Korea posted unofficial photos related to the L’Occitane Asia Ambassador campaign on its official SNS account without permission, and we acknowledge all responsibilities and apologize" he said.

"We take this matter very seriously and sincerely apologize to the artists and fans who were hurt by this incident."," he bowed his head. "We immediately and completely excluded the employee from all duties, and personnel actions (waiting orders) were implemented," he said. 

"To prevent this from happening again, we will introduce regular training programs on the importance of copyright, portrait, publicity and privacy rights of brand ambassador artists for all employees so that all employees can understand and comply with them thoroughly, and we will proceed with the whole process with a heavy responsibility."," he added.

Finally, he apologized again, "'Once again, I deeply feel responsible for this matter and sincerely apologize to the artists and fans concerned.' Earlier, an employee of L’Occitane Korea posted several photos of Mingyu on his SNS that seemed to have been taken at the scene of the commercial.
