Blackpink's Rosé and Bruno Mars managed to surprise fans. The two announced a collaboration through a new single titled "APT". Through their respective Instagram accounts, both Rose and Bruno uploaded a cover photo with a pink background that reads “Rosé⚡Bruno Mars - APT.”

In the cover photo, Rosé is seen sitting in front of Bruno who is playing the drums. Both of them are wearing matching black outerwear. Meanwhile, "APT" is ready to be heard by fans via digital music platforms on Friday, October 18, 2024.

Hours before the “APT” announcement, Rosé and Bruno appeared to be giving fans a hint through a photo of themselves together. “The night I taught Bruno how to play Korean drinking games,” Rosé wrote in the caption of the post.

Meanwhile, Bruno uploaded another photo with a longer caption. “So this is me surviving after @roses_are_rosie introduced me to a Korean drinking game and got me all excited.  Shortly after, she tried to kiss me, and I was like “woah Rosie! what game is this?”

She was like “I don’t want to mess with you anymore, little brat! Rosie is great about that POLICY!” Shaken, I replied “stop Rosie, I’m scared!”,” Bruno wrote. “But other than that, it was a very relaxing evening,” he added. Fans also interpreted Bruno's joke towards Rosé as part of the lyrics of their new song.

“Spoiler alert! Part of the lyrics?” a fan wrote in the comments. For your information, Rose recently announced her comeback as a soloist. She is preparing to release her first full album titled “rosie”. According to her Spotify account, the Blackpink member is preparing 12 tracks for the new album.

A collaboration single with Bruno Mars is likely to be one of the tracks. Meanwhile, Bruno Mars' collaboration single with Lady Gaga, "Die With A Smile", achieved huge success. The song, which was released on August 16, 2024, has been streamed more than 639 million times on Spotify.
