BELIFT LAB and HYBE Labels' girl group ILLIT is currently preparing for their second mini album comeback titled 'I'll Like You' which will be released on October 21, 2024. Approaching the release date of the latest album, ILLIT teased fans by releasing a highlight medley or excerpts of all the songs on the album.
Quoting from the HYBE Labels YouTube channel on Sunday October 13, 2024, ILLIT's second mini album titled 'I'll Like You' will consist of 5 songs in it. Including the main song 'Cherish (My Love).' Followed by 4 b-side tracks that are no less cool. There are the songs 'I'll Like You,' 'IYKYK,' 'Pimple,' and 'Tick-Tack.'
In the highlight medley of the mini album 'I'll Like You' this time, ILLIT successfully demonstrated their ability to execute various genres ranging from cheerful songs to sad songs. Opening with the first track 'I'll Like You,' ILLIT successfully displays the charm of the playful young generation through a cheerful song accompanied by upbeat music .
The next track titled 'IYKYK' which is an abbreviation of the term 'If You Know You Know' which is popularly used today also still carries cheerful music with a fast song beat. Treating fans to a bright and cheerful song, ILLIT had no trouble switching genres on the song 'Pimple' with a more mellow and emotional feel.
Through this song, ILLIT showed off their sweet vocal charm. Not wanting to get carried away by the emotional atmosphere, the song 'Tick-Tack' brightens up the atmosphere again with a touch of retro music style. The highlight medley of the second mini album 'I'll Like You' closes with a snippet of the main song 'Cherish (My Love)' which presents a sweet and easy listening melody.
Accompanying the fifth song clip from the album 'I'll Like You,' the five members of ILLIT also appear in the video. Complementing their song spoilers with expressions that describe the contents of the song, makes this highlight medley feel more enjoyable.
Especially the changes in expression they show in each track, as well as the sweet chemistry of the members. On the other hand, this is ILLIT's first comeback this year after they officially debuted last March through their first mini album 'Super Real Me' and the title track 'Magnetic.'
