The Korean drama produced by ENA entitled Dear Hyeri, ahead of the release of episode 9, the production team has shared a spoiler leak showing Lee Jin Wook looking for Shin Hye Sun's split personality.
Dear Hyeri is a romance drama starring Shin Hae Sun as Joo Eun Ho, a news anchor who suffers from dissociative identity disorder after her younger sister disappears and her breakup with her long-time boyfriend, Jung Hyun Oh (Lee Jin Wook).
On the previous episode of Dear Hyeri, the real reason behind Jung Hyun Oh's engagement rumors was revealed. However, Eun Ho—who mistakenly believed that Hyun Oh was getting married—was devastated, and she ended up having to step down from all of her shows.
Eun Ho then simply disappears, leaving behind only a diary in which Hye Ri announces that since Eun Ho has failed to find happiness, she will take over from now on. Meanwhile, at the end of the episode, Joo Yeon (Kang Hoon) looks for Hyun Oh and tells him about Eun Ho's alternate personality.
In the photos that were just released via Instagram @channel.ena.d, Hyun Oh - who is now aware of Hye Ri's existence - is shown chasing the trail of Eun Ho's second personality. Late at night, his search leads him to the parking lot where Hye Ri works.
There, he meets Min Young (Oh Kyung Hwa), and he shows her something on his cellphone screen with a desperate expression. After speaking with Min Young, Hyun Oh is visibly shocked by what he just heard. After learning about Eun Ho's double life, which he was completely unaware of, Hyun Oh is belatedly filled with regret.
The production team of Dear Hyeri teased, “Hyun Oh will be overwhelmed with shock after finding out Eun Ho’s secret. Please look forward to seeing the big change in Hyun Oh’s life amidst his deep regret,” as quoted from Soompi on October 20, 2024. Meanwhile, episode 9 of the Korean drama Dear Hyeri will air on October 21, 2024, at 22:00 KST.
