Zayn Malik has postponed his upcoming concert tour, following the tragic death of Liam Payne, his former One Direction bandmate. On Saturday October 19, 2024, the singer of the song 'Pillowtalk' announced that he was postponing his 'Stairway To The Sky' tour in the US.

Previously, his first tour was scheduled to start next week on October 23, 2024 in San Francisco. The tour was postponed as Zayn Malik continues to mourn the death of Liam Payne. He announced the decision via Instagram.

"In light of the heartbreaking loss experienced this week, I have made the decision to postpone the US leg of my Stairway To The Sky tour," Zayn wrote on his Instagram Story. The 31-year-old said his tour will be rescheduled for January next year. The schedule will be announced in the coming days. "Your tickets will remain valid for the new schedule.

I love you all and thank you for your understanding," he concluded. Zayn Malik was devastated by the news that Liam Payne had died after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In his letter to the late British musician, he revealed that they often fought, but still loved each other.

"Even though you're younger than me, you've always been wiser, you're opinionated, stubborn, and don't care to tell people when they're wrong. Even though we've fought about this a few times, [laughing emoji] I've always secretly respected you for it," Zayn wrote in his letter.
