Gong Yoo Reveals His Most Difficult Role in The Trunk Series, Not Bed Scenes

Ahead of the premiere of Netflix series ' The Trunk ', the main cast and director attended a press conference at Raum Art Center, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Seo Hyun Jin, Gong Yoo , Jeong Yun Ha, Jo Gun, Kim Dong Won shared their experiences during filming. 

Netflix series 'The Trunk' is about a mystery melodrama involving two people in a contract marriage. The secret marriage begins to be revealed because of a mysterious suitcase found floating on the shore of a lake. For loyal fans of the Netflix original series, it must be no surprise that there will be provocative scenes as a spice in the story. 

This has been confirmed even before the series aired. Quoting MK Sport, Tuesday November 26, 2024 director Kim Gyu Tae explained the exposure scene between Seo Hyun Jin and Gong Yoo. " The tone and style of 'Trunk' itself is a realistic story with an unrealistic setting. 

In terms of love between a man and a woman, bed scenes are necessary in order to express the emotions of the characters. Exposure scenes are not used as provocative elements. I tried to solve it artistically, so I filmed it at an appropriate level, " he said about the bed scenes that will be shown in the series. 

In fact, Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun Jin said, " There's nothing to worry about. " Seo Hyun Jin said, " It's not a big deal, " she said, and Gong Yoo also added, " Rather than bed scenes or love scenes, the scenes where I take a shower alone are more difficult. " " I worked hard while eating grass for two weeks. 

The shooting was good. The director and cinematographer also thought of a fresh angle that I had never seen before. There was also a shower scene that didn't show anything, " he said proudly after going through the trouble of making the scene.
