Min Hee Jin decided to step down from her position as ADOR's internal director. Apart from that, he also chose to leave HYBE and terminate the shareholder agreement with HYBE.  " Today, I am resigning from my position as an internal director at ADOR.

In addition, I am terminating the shareholder agreement with HYBE and intend to hold HYBE legally accountable for violating this agreement ," Min Hee Jin wrote in her official statement on Wednesday November 20, 2024.

Furthermore, Min Hee Jin will take legal action against HYBE regarding the illegal actions carried out by the company after the negotiation efforts made between her and HYBE were deemed to have yielded no change. " I will take necessary legal action one by one against the various illegal activities committed by HYBE and its affiliates.

Despite the fierce dispute that has lasted for more than seven months with HYBE, which began with HYBE's illegal audit in April, I have made every effort to uphold the shareholder agreement and restore ADOR to its pre-April condition.

However, HYBE has not acknowledged its wrongdoings or shown any signs of change, which has led me to conclude that further efforts would be a waste of time ," Min Hee Jin continued. Furthermore, Min Hee Jin decided to resign because she did not want to depend on material for a company that he considered unhealthy.

She also hopes that HYBE can repent. " I don't expect them to repent, but I do believe they have at least a minimum level of awareness as human beings, which now seems to be a naive error of judgment, " he explained.

" Just as simply breathing doesn't mean one is truly alive, I don't want to rely on money and get caught up in this crooked organization, " Min Hee Jin continued. The conflict between Min Hee Jin and HYBE began in April 2024 when HYBE accused Min Hee Jin of trying to separate ADOR from the parent company. HYBE conducted an internal audit and investigation at that time.

However, Min Hee Jin denied the allegations and accused HYBE of having a grudge against her. Min Hee Jin also touched on the alleged plagiarism committed by another HYBE subsidiary girl group, ILLIT, against NewJeans.

The conflict heated up and caused Min Hee Jin to be removed from her position at ADOR. Min Hee Jin's removal was then protested by NewJeans members, until they made a video on YouTube asking for Min Hee Jin to return.

Not stopping there, NewJeans' Hanni also testified at a joint hearing of the National Assembly's Environment and Labor Committee which discussed the issues of bullying and harassment experienced by K-pop idols in their workplaces, especially under HYBE's management. Last October 2024, Min Hee Jin was briefly reappointed as director at ADOR. However, she eventually decided to resign.
