Ahn Jae-hong is reportedly being eyed to star in Signal 2 alongside Lee Je-hoon. The Fight for My Way actor has been confirmed to have received an offer to join the long-awaited drama sequel. The news comes five months after Koo Kyo-hwan reportedly received an offer to star in Signal 2.
According to Hankyung, although Koo Kyo-hwan was initially in talks for the drama, Ahn Jae-hong is now being considered to replace him as the new character in Signal 2. "Ahn Jae-hong received an offer to appear in Signal 2," said the actor's management representative, reported by Star News via Naver, on Monday (December 23, 2024.
However, details about Ahn Jae-hong's role in Signal 2 have yet to be revealed. However, if confirmed, the upcoming project will also be a reunion for the actor with Lee Je-hoon since starring in Time to Hunt (2020). On the other hand, Signal season 2 is reportedly preparing to enter the production process.
