Jungkook looked so emotional when he cut his hair before entering the military in December 2023. This was revealed in the behind-the-scenes footage of the Disney+ documentary "I AM STILL" which was made especially for the BTS maknae.

The video shows Jungkook getting his hair cut by Nae Joo, who has been styling his hair for over 10 years. "This is fun, right?" Jungkook asks. Nee Joo replies while reflecting on the adventures they've been on over the past year. "But really, this year, we had fun traveling around the world, didn't we?" Nae Joo said.

Jungkook just hummed as he agreed with his hairstylist's words. After that, the idol revealed that washing his hair will be easier now. "Oh my gosh. It's going to be so easy to wash my hair now," Jungkook said. When Jungkook finished cutting his hair, something unexpected happened.

The idol first brushed off excess hair from his face and head. "Now, let's see," Jungkook said and felt quite satisfied with his haircut. After that, the idol born in 1997 gave a comforting hug to Nae Joo who was apparently crying and wiping her tears. Jungkook also admitted that he was also holding back his tears.

"I was almost crying, but I didn't cry. I held it in," Jungkook said. "So cool, Jungkook," Nae Joo said. "So cool. I don't need headbands anymore now," Jungkook replied. The clip of Jungkook and Nae Joo's emotional moment was immediately flooded with netizen comments. "

This guy has been BTS's hairstylist since 2013 so he's literally watched Jungkook grow up... styling his hair since he was 16 to shaving his hair for the military at 26 [sic!]," wrote one netizen. " Wow, so sweet. He really watched JK grow up. Always nice to see BTS have a lot of the same staff since debut.... [sic!]," added another.

" I started crying on the bus [sic!]," said another. Meanwhile, Jungkook and BTS's Jimin entered the military on December 12 at The 5th Infantry Division. Both of them enlisted as active soldiers. Jungkook was specifically assigned as a cook at the military camp. He is scheduled to finish his military service on June 11, 2025.
