"When The Phone Rings" presents an unexpected cameo in the latest episode. No half measures, the cameo is Chae Soo Bin's biological nephew who is still a toddler. This was revealed by the actor who plays the character Hong Hee Joo himself.
In a post on December 29, 2024, Soo Bin posted photos with the caption, “My nephew’s drama debut….” In the adorable photos, a toddler is seen being gently carried by the actress. The chubby and healthy toddler looked very comfortable and calm in Soo Bin's arms, clearly feeling the warmth and affection of his loving aunt.
The actress calmly and lovingly soothed the baby. In the scene "When The Phone Rings", Hee Joo's character is seen singing a lullaby while holding a crying toddler. When it was revealed that the toddler was Soo Bin's real nephew, fans were immediately excited.

On the other hand, "When The Phone Rings" now has only two final episodes left. In the latest episode of the MBC drama, Baek Sa Eon (Yoo Yeon Seok) is again panicked because Hee Joo is kidnapped again by the real Baek Sa Eon (Park Jae Yoon).
The tenth episode preview shows a kidnapper who is being hunted by the police for a number of crimes. Despite being in a desperate situation, the man still holds a big grudge against Sa Eon who lives a prosperous life and has a beautiful wife.
Fake Sa Eon finally kidnaps Hee Joo again and makes Sa Eon frantically search for him. However, Hee Joo who intends to save Sa Eon asks her husband not to look for her. Hee Joo crashes her car into a ravine with the kidnapper.
