Motel California is MBC's latest Korean drama that stars Na In Woo as one of its main players. Ahead of its premiere, the production team has leaked details of the character he will play.
Carrying the romantic comedy genre, the Korean drama Motel California is adapted from the 2019 novel by Shim Yoon Seo entitled "Home, Bitter Home" (literal title). Written by Lee Seo Yoon and directed by Jang Joon Ho and Kim Hyung Min, the series follows the story of a woman who grew up in a rural motel called Motel California.
After running away from his hometown, he returns 12 years later to reconnect with his first love and face new challenges. The photos released via MBC's Instagram @mbcdrama_now show Na In Woo's character as a veterinarian in a rural village, Hana Eup.
Na In Woo will play Cheon Yeon Soo, the most eligible bachelor in the rural village of Hana-eup. A handsome veterinarian, he is known for his tough charm, taming unruly bulls with ease, and his unique ability to connect with both humans and animals.
Cheon Yeon Soo is also a hopeless romantic, who is committed to loving only one woman for the rest of his life. However, his peaceful world is shaken when his first love, Ji Kang Hee (Lee Se Young), returns to their hometown after 12 years.
After leaving for Seoul without a thought for the people she left behind, Ji Kang Hee's unexpected return throws Cheon Yeon Soo's life into turmoil. In the newly released photos, Na In Woo fully embodies the role of a gentle veterinarian in a quiet rural setting.
