The report came from People on Saturday February 22, 2025, revealing a statement from a source close to both parties who declined to be named. "Their relationship is very low-key and they are quietly enjoying their time together," the source said.
However, until now there has been no official comment from the representative of the main actor who played the Amazing Spider-Man film and the star of A Complete Unknown. Signs of the two actors' closeness began to be found at W Magazine's annual Best Performances party in Los Angeles on January 4, 2025.
The 41-year-old actor and 34-year-old actress were reportedly seen hanging out with Eddie Redmayne and Lynn Hirschberg. Barbaro and Garfield were also recently seen sitting next to each other in the audience at a performance of Richard II at the Bridge Theatre in London's West End, England, which was headlined by Jonathan Bailey.
