BLACKPINK's Lisa had an exclusive interview with popular Thai artist Woody Milintachinda on February 27, 2025. The 1997-born idol was interviewed for about half an hour as part of the promotion of her album "Alter Ego".

During the interview, Woody asked Lisa if there was anything during her ten years in the industry that particularly affected her or caused her “anxiety.” Lisa shared that she had encountered sasaengs. Lisa explained that last year, after landing in South Korea and greeting fans at the airport, she returned home alone.

However, the idol met someone waiting for her outside. "I've never shared this before. Last year... Yeah, I think so. That was the first time I actually experienced it myself. I've heard a lot about it from other idol friends, mostly male idols," Lisa said.

"But it just happened to me. I had my first sasaeng experience. For the first time, last year. I was alone in South Korea in my house. The walls of my house weren't that high. And I was there alone," Lisa continued. "I mean, I have my cats, but... There was one time... Usually, when my plane lands in South Korea...

Fans would be there waiting at the airport. It's normal. And I appreciate them coming. I miss them a lot too," she added. "But when I came home... I saw them waiting. So I said to that person... 'I'm really uncomfortable with this. If you want to meet me, let's meet somewhere... public?

Coming to my house like this? I feel uncomfortable,'" she continued. Lisa said she felt scared after checking the CCTV around her house while she was alone. "And the person came at night. After I checked my CCTV, and I was afraid to go out. And that's when... I really started to worry.

Because I was really alone. I was scared. There was no one with me," she recalled. Lisa then shared another harrowing story about dealing with annoying fans. Once, as she was getting into a taxi from her house, someone tried to follow her from behind and used their foot to prevent her from closing the door.

"And there was one time that really... scared me. I left the house to take a cab... to a dance rehearsal, but my manager couldn't come pick me up. So I thought it was just a rehearsal. I could go there and go home by myself," she said.

"But then... the guy tried to get into my taxi by sticking his foot between the door... the taxi door. I don't want to go into too much detail. But it was something I've never experienced. And I didn't know what to do. I really didn't know how to react, and I was scared," she continued.

The experience left her so shaken that she asked her female manager to move in with her for a while. Lisa also revealed that these kinds of things happen at her home in Los Angeles and that she sometimes feels unsafe in public for fear that strangers will hurt her.
