The latest Korean drama, which was released on January 24, 2025 on Netflix, is included in the ranks of popular series this year. In this drama, Cho Young Woo plays the role of doctor Yang Jae Won who becomes the first student for Baek Gang Hyeok (played by Ju Ji Hoon).
This character is a doctor from the proctology surgery department led by Professor Han Yu Rim (played by Yoon Gyung Ho). Yang Jae Won is a young doctor who is easily anxious but also cares deeply about his patients. He even got used to riding in a helicopter at high altitudes even though he had trauma.
Doctor Yang is eventually scouted by Baek Gang Hyeok and joins his team and is nicknamed 'Number 1'. Choo Young Woo is an actor born in Seoul, South Korea on June 5, 1999. The 25-year-old actor has been active in the Korean entertainment industry since 2021 until now.
He continued his higher education at Korea National University of Arts. This handsome man made his acting debut in a BL web series titled 'You Make Me Dance'. Then his acting career continued to the drama Police University and played the role of Park Min-kyu.
