GOT7's Jinyoung officially makes his comeback after completing his military service. Fans can look forward to the airing of his latest Korean drama with Roh Jeong Eui, The Witch, on February 15, 2025.

Ahead of its broadcast, the cast of the Korean drama 'The Witch' attended a press conference held in Seoul. GOT7's Jinyoung admitted to being worried about how the project would be received by the public. However, the Korean drama The Witch became GOT7 Jinyoung's first project to air after being discharged on November 7, 2024.

His concerns were accompanied by feelings of happiness and enthusiasm. "Because this drama was filmed before my military service, there was some pressure I felt as an actor, but after completing my military service, the joy outweighed the burden."

"This is a project that we completed two years ago and as my first post-military project, I felt nervous, but most importantly, I was happy," said GOT7's Jinyoung while attending the press conference for the Korean drama The Witch, on Tuesday February 11, 2025. GOT7's Jinyoung added that he is a reader of Kang Full's webtoon.

The member of the K-pop group GOT7 loves the author's storytelling style and feels honored to be a part of the adaptation of Kang Full's webtoon, The Witch. Roh Jeong Eui feels the same way, so the two of them tried to match the visuals of the original webtoon characters of The Witch.

Carrying the romance-mystery genre, the Korean drama 'The Witch' follows the story of Dong Jin (played by GOT7's Jinyoung), a data mining expert who majored in statistics in college because of his high school crush Mi Jeong (played by Roh Jeong Eui).

Oddly enough, Mi Jeong is nicknamed a witch because she is considered the cause of strange things happening around her. All the men who like Mi Jeong die or get injured. 10 years after graduating from high school, Dong Jin meets Mi Jeong again who has closed herself off from the world. Dong Jin wants to prove that the unfortunate incident did not happen because of Mi Jeong.

He is willing to risk his life, write a thesis and investigate a number of Mi Jeong's 'victims'. Fans can look forward to the broadcast of the Korean drama The Witch every Saturday and Sunday at 21.10 KST on Channel A. The latest episodes can be watched with English subtitles on Viu.
