Lee Je Hoon's visuals with his striking white hair in the upcoming drama " The Art of Negotiation " have caught the attention of many fans. Reporting from Soompi on Tuesday February 25, 2025, Lee Je Hoon interpreted it as a form of symbolism of the character he plays.

“The Art of Negotiation” itself tells the story of Yoon Joo No (Lee Je Hoon), an M&A expert known as a legendary negotiator. Yoon Jo No leads his team through high-stakes corporate challenges. After further investigation, the drama is directed by Ahn Pan Seok, who is known for his meticulous attention to detail and realism.

It is likely that this drama will be an interesting watch and is ready to premiere on March 8, 2025. Lee Je Hoon makes a bold transformation into Yoon Joo No, the “White Snake” in the world of negotiation who will captivate viewers with his striking silver hair. With his character still in his prime, curiosity is growing about why Yoon Joo No has such an unusual appearance.

Sharing his thoughts on his transformation, Lee Je Hoon explained his new visuals for his role in the drama. “I wanted to visually convey Yoon Joo No’s near-perfect meticulousness as a negotiator at first glance. This style helped me fully accept her as a different and extraordinary character,”  Lee Je Hoon explained.

Furthermore, it turns out that this dramatic appearance came true thanks to the strong recommendation of director Ahn Pan Seok. Lee Je Hoon added his story during the production process of this drama. “At first when he first suggested it, neither I nor the people around me were sure if it would work.

But the director strongly recommended it, and with the careful efforts of our makeup and costume team, I was able to fully commit to it,” Lee Je Hoon added. Not only Lee Je Hon, the director also revealed the story behind the visuals of the main character in this drama as a symbolic element.

“Because he’s constantly negotiating with influential figures, I didn’t want him to look just like a young man—he had to look like he was on par with the people around him. The original script depicted his silver hair as a visual device that made it hard to tell his exact age, which I thought was a good idea,” said director Ahn Pan Seok.

“One of our consultants said they go gray in their early 30s. Just like Marie Antoinette’s hair was said to have turned white overnight during the French Revolution, we wanted Yoon Joo No’s hair to give viewers an indescribable, almost unsettling impression,”  he added.
