"I wanted to visually show Yoon Jo No's near-perfect precision from just one look. This style (white hair) helped me to really get into his different and extraordinary character," said Lee Je Hoon as reported by Newsen on Tuesday February 25, 2025.
Director Ahn Pan Seok also played a role in the 40-year-old actor's decision about Yoon Joo No's appearance. At first, the actor was hesitant to follow the suggestion. Lee Je Hoon wasn't sure if the hairstyle would work for this character.
But because of the director's strong desire and the support of the makeup and costume team, he became more confident and ended up agreeing with the suggestion. "Yoon Joo No in the original script was described as a man with silver hair.
The hair color was used as a visual tool, making it difficult for those who see him to guess his exact age. I thought it was a really good idea and since he is always negotiating with influential figures, I didn't want to see him appear as just an ordinary man," said director Ahn Pan Seok.
