Gold Medalist, the agency representing actor Kim Soo Hyun, has been revealed to have contacted the late actress Kim Sae Ron‘s father numerous times. On March 16, 2025, YouTube channel “HoverLab Inc” disclosed messages that the deceased’s father received from Director A of Gold Medalist.
In the messages, Director A wrote on March 13, 2025, “Hello. Would you be available to talk? I called you last night as well. I want to speak with you. Please contact me.” The director continued, “I can’t seem to reach you. Sir, I’m sorry for causing you so much concern. Please give me a chance to visit you in person and explain what has happened.”
In response, the deceased’s father replied, “I will contact you around next Monday,” to which Director A responded, “I’ll wait for your call.” This was the same day Gold Medalist had announced they would release a statement regarding the actor’s relationship with Kim Sae Ron.
At the time, they stated, “To correct the facts and respond to baseless rumors, we will clarify our position next week with clear evidence.” The following day, around 11 AM on March 14th, Gold Medalist acknowledged the relationship with Kim Sae Ron but maintained that “They dated after she became an adult.”
They also added that claims about pressing Kim Sae Ron for debt repayment and ignoring her requests for help were completely unfounded. Later that day at 5:41 PM, Director A again messaged the deceased’s father asking, “Are you available to talk?” The father replied, “I’m working now, but I can talk in the evening. I’ll contact you.”
Furthermore, Director A attempted to call the deceased’s father twice after midnight, leaving messages and calling at 10-20 minute intervals. Netizens expressed their outrage: “Stop harassing the father. Why didn’t you answer Kim Sae Ron’s calls?
