South Korean actress Seo Ye Ji is being eyed to star in a new horror thriller drama. On Thursday May 8, 2025, local media reported that Seo Ye Ji was asked to play the main role in a drama entitled Forest of Humans (working title). The news has also been responded to by SUBLIME as Seo Ye Ji's agency.
They said the actress has received an offer to star in the drama and is considering it. "Seo Ye Ji received an offer to star in the new drama 'Forest of Humans' and is currently reviewing it," a statement from the agency. Forest of Humans is based on a webtoon.
The drama will have many suspenseful scenes that focus on violence and death. A place that houses psychopathic killers becomes paralyzed. They gather there to achieve the goal of an experiment. The drama is also reported to have an adult rating and is in discussion to be released on an OTT platform.
If this offer is accepted, Forest of Humans will be Seo Ye Ji's drama after her last starring in Eve in 2022. In that drama, Ye Ji played the main character, Lee La El or Kim Sun Bin. Seo Ye Ji acted alongside Park Byung Eun, Yoo Sun, Lee Sang Yeob and Lee Il Hwa in the drama.
