The K-drama is still airing but actor Gong Myung has already received an offer to star in a new project! The actor of Second Shot At Love was recruited to play the main role in a new K-drama with Shin Hye Sun.
As reported by SPOTV News on Thursday June 5, 2025, Gong Myung and Shin Hye Sun were eyed to play a Korean drama titled Secret Audit (direct translation title). Currently, each is considering the offer.
"Secret Audit is one of the projects offered to her, but there is no confirmation about her appearance here," said Shin Hye Sun's management representative. Gong Myung's agency has yet to issue an official statement regarding the offer or confirmation of his appearance in the new series.
Secret Audit is a romantic comedy drama set in the workplace. The main characters are Noh Ki Joon and Joo In Ah. The role of Noh Ki Joon, which was offered to Gong Myung, is a former model employee on the audit team.
But now he has to work on the company's trivial internal problems. Joo In Ah, the character offered to Shin Hye Sun, is a strong and eccentric audit team leader. She has a secret that will slowly be revealed.
Together, they witness various scandals and love affairs that occur in the office. This Korean drama project is still in the very early stages. There are no actors or actresses who have joined and are involved in the production.
It has not been announced who the screenwriter and director will be who will handle this project. Shin Hye Sun last appeared in Dear Hyeri (2024) and Welcome to Samdal-ri (2023). This year she will appear as Sarah Kim in the Netflix series The Art of Sarah (2025).
