Starship Entertainment has announced that MONSTA X's I.M will be going on hiatus or taking a temporary break from his activities due to health issues according to the agency's statement on Tuesday July 29, 2025.
I.M is currently undergoing treatment for back pain. Based on the medical team's advice, I.M needed time to recover and get adequate rest. Therefore, he decided to postpone all activities to focus on his recovery.
Due to this condition, IM is certain to be unable to attend major events such as KCON LA 2025 which is scheduled to take place on Saturday August 2, 2025, as well as several other upcoming schedules.
Starship Entertainment emphasized that the artist's health is the top priority, and they will provide full support for I.M's recovery. The decision regarding I.M's return to activities will be further considered based on the doctor's advice and I.M's health condition.
Previously, I.M was also forced to miss the 2025 Busan Waterbomb event on July 26, 2025 due to complaints of back pain that required him to go to the hospital for a check-up.
Starship Entertainment asks for fans' understanding regarding this sudden news and invites everyone to offer their support and prayers for I.M's full recovery and return to performing on stage.
