South Korean singer and actor, Ong Seong Wu has confirmed that he has renewed his contract with his agency, Fantagio. This is the first time his exclusive contract has been renewed since joining the agency in 2017.
“After in-depth discussions, we renewed our contract with actor Ong Seong Wu based on trust and comfort,” Fantagio said on Monday, February 9, 2026. "We will provide full support to Ong Seong Wu, who has unlimited potential, so he can continue his various activities," agency said.
On the same day, the actor also posted a message on a fan community, stating, "After much discussion, I have decided to continue with the agency and renew my contract." Ong Seong Wu explained, “I feel like I still have a lot of things I want to achieve together with my family who works hard for me.”
Ong Seong Wu debuted as a member of the group Wanna One in the competition Produce 101 Season 2 in 2017. The group ended its activities and he started his career as an actor. The actor made his acting debut through the drama Moment of Eighteen in 2019.
He was most recently an actor in the musical Shakespeare in Love and the drama Love Track. This year, Ong Seong Wu returned to acting through the Korean drama Chilling Romance and the film Jung Family's Farm.
