Rowoon has reportedly postponed his military enlistment. The former SF9 member was originally scheduled to enlist as an active-duty soldier on July 21, 2025, but the date was ultimately postponed.
The delay occurred after he underwent a pre-registration physical examination and received a re-examination notice (Grade 7). "Rowoon was originally scheduled to enlist as an active duty soldier on July 21, 2025.
However, starting this July 2025, the Military Manpower Administration has been conducting pre-enlistment physical examinations two weeks before enlistment for all conscripts.
During this examination, Rowoon received a Grade 7 re-examination notification letter," read a statement from FNC Entertainment on Thursday (July 17, 2025). Rowoon has reportedly filed an appeal and is scheduled to undergo a retrial in early August 2025.
"Rowoon has immediately filed an appeal and is scheduled for re-evaluation in early August. He hopes to ensure there are no issues in fulfilling his obligations and can enlist as an active-duty soldier as soon as possible," he continued.
Before his military service, Rowoon held a fan meeting titled Before Blooming on May 31, 2025 at Kwangwoon University in Seoul. He is also currently preparing for the release of his latest Disney+ original series, The Murky Stream.
