Ryeowook, one of the lead vocalists of the legendary group Super Junior, demonstrated extraordinary social responsibility. In commemoration of Children's Day in South Korea, Ryeowook donated a substantial amount to support the welfare of the younger generation.

This generous news was officially announced by the international development non-governmental organization (NGO), G Foundation, on Monday (May 4, 2026). Ryeowook is known to have donated 100 million KRW.

This donation is not only substantial in terms of the amount, but also has a very specific and crucial focus. 50 Million Won is allocated for children at risk of food insecurity (nutritional problems and food shortages) and another 50 Million Won is intended to support the facilities and needs of children living in orphanages.

G Foundation Chairman Park Chung Kwan expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the "The Little Prince" singer's sincere initiative. He emphasized that this assistance will significantly impact the future of vulnerable children.

"We sincerely thank Ryeowook for his thoughtful contribution to the present and future of children. This donation will be used transparently to create meaningful change for those in need," said Park Chung Kwan. Ryeowook's concrete action adds to the long list of ongoing efforts by K-Pop idols to have a positive impact on society.

This contribution is expected to not only provide material assistance, but also provide warmth and new hope for children in need on Children's Day. This step proves that Ryeowook's dedication extends beyond the stage and extends to deeper human endeavors.
