South Korean actor Lee Chae Min's popularity skyrocketed after becoming the main actor in the drama Bon Appetit, Your Majesty with SNSD's Yoona. The drama aired on tvN from August 23, to September 28, 2025, every Saturday and Sunday at 21:10 (KST).
According to the Korea Enterprise Reputation Research Institute, Lee Chae Min topped the actor brand reputation list for September 2025. Lee Chaemin has reportedly received script offers for 30 upcoming drama and film projects, according to an industry insider.
"Lee Chae-min had received 30 scripts for upcoming projects even before the finale of Bon Appetit, Your Majesty. He has quickly become the top choice for the Chungmuro production team and the drama," the source said, as reported by Moneycontrol.
The drama Bon Appetit, Your Majesty tells the story of a tyrannical king named Lee Heon (Lee Chae Min) who meets Yeon Ji Young, a modern chef who is mysteriously thrown into the past. Lee Chae Min's performance as Prince Yeon-hee, along with his chemistry with Yoona, boosted the drama's popularity.
Throughout its run, the drama consistently achieved high ratings. According to Nielsen Korea, episode 10 of Bon Appetit, Your Majesty achieved an average rating of 15.9 percent, peaking at 17.6 percent in the capital, and 15.8 percent and 17.3 percent nationwide.
The drama's final episode will air on Sunday (September 28, 2025). After Bon Appetit, Your Majesty concludes, Lee Chae Min is scheduled to appear in the Netflix original series Cashiero, which is slated for release in the second half of this year. The drama 'Bon Appetit, Your Majesty' is available for streaming on Netflix.
