RM turned 31 and decided to do a live broadcast to interact with his fans on his special day. Speaking to his millions of fans who had joined the session, he revealed how the night before, he had been drinking with Jimin and even had dinner with V, who couldn't contain his excitement and started commenting during the live broadcast.
The BTS leader then talked about the preparations the group has made for their latest release which will be released in spring 2026. He promised that the team would bring something new to the BTS ARMY and that they would wait a little longer.
He further shared the immense pressure placed on the team to produce another hit song after their three-year military break. Talking about the immense pressure placed on the team for their upcoming release, RM said,
"It's really hard, really. I mean, everyone, imagine you're BTS! You're BTS, but you just finished your military service. It took 3 years. You suddenly come back, and everyone's already excited, saying things like, 'Wow, they're going to make something big, huh?' It's also stressful for us.
And we got together and lived together for 2 years—I mean, 2 months, but nothing changed. We're the same as before." Regarding how much of their work on the album has been completed, RM said that the team adopted a completely new system in working on new music.
After being in Los Angeles for two months, working diligently with producers and composers, they are now entering the second half of production, with recording yet to begin. The team is reportedly working on lyrics and arranging them to match the songs they have written so far.
Confirming the group's plans for a post-album world tour, he said, "We will be holding a concert. We have already had meetings regarding the concert. Since next year's project will be everything for us, we have to prepare accordingly." So we've been having meetings, preparing the album, discussing the style, and then our music.”
