Lee Yi Kyung is in The Spotlight, The Rumor Spreader is Suspected of Having Done Something Similar

South Korean actor Lee Yi Kyung's name has recently been in the public spotlight after being suspected of sending various sexually explicit messages to a number of women. This was revealed by a netizen with the initials A, where he revealed Lee Yi Kyung's 'real' attitude.

In a post on an online community, A displayed a number of screenshots containing explicit messages that Lee Yi Kyung allegedly sent to her. Although the post was quickly deleted, some of the chat's contents spread rapidly on social media, garnering public attention. 

In the spotlight, A posted again, denying that he had revealed the information for money. However, A admitted that she had asked Lee Yi Kyung for money because her finances were tight at the time. However, A never received the money, and she never asked for it again.

"I never received any money from him, and I never asked for it again. This isn't about the money, but to warn other women because he used harsh words," A said in the post, quoted Thursday October 23, 2025. 

Furthermore, A emphasized that he was not a fraudster. He also revealed that he was a foreign national who taught himself Korean and was not yet fluent. Following this issue, Lee Yi Kyung's agency, Sangyoung ENT, issued a firm statement. 

Sangyoung ENT strongly denied the rumors that Lee Yi Kyung sent explicit messages and stated that they would take action against those who spread the rumors. "All claims circulating online are untrue. We are preparing legal action," Sangyoung ENT stated in their official statement.

Furthermore, Sangyoung ENT also revealed that the person spreading this rumor had previously done something similar. The agency revealed that the same person had contacted them several months ago with a false story seeking money through threats.

"After admitting that the claims were false, they even sent an apology email. Now they are posting the same accusations again," explained Sangyoung ENT. Sangyoung ENT is currently preparing legal action to sue the spreader of rumors that have tarnished Lee Yi Kyung's name.
