2PM's Ok Taecyeon has announced that he is getting married. His agency, 51K, confirmed the happy news on November 1, 2025, announcing that he has “promised to share his life with someone he has been dating for a long time.”
The bride-to-be is a non-celebrity, and the couple is planning a private wedding ceremony in Seoul next spring. Taecyeon also shared a heartfelt handwritten letter with fans on social media to personally announce the news.
“I have promised to spend a lifetime with someone who has understood and trusted me for a long time,” he wrote. “We will become steadfast presences for each other and walk through life together.” He went on to express his gratitude to his fans, known as Hottest.
“Starting from Superstar Survival at age 19, your constant companionship has allowed me to reach where I am today,” he continued. “Moving forward, as an unchanging member of 2PM, as an actor, and as your Taecyeon, I will do my best to repay the love and trust you have shown me.”
The announcement didn’t come as a total surprise to some fans. Marriage rumors first surfaced last February after photos circulated online that appeared to show him proposing to his girlfriend.
Taecyeon, who debuted with 2PM in 2008, has built a successful acting career with roles in popular dramas such as Dream High, Save Me and Vincenzo. He is the second 2PM member to get married, following Hwang Chansung, who tied the knot in 2022.
