Ariana Grande experienced an unpleasant incident while attending the premiere of her latest film, Wicked: For Good. After missing the premiere in Brazil, Grande and the rest of the cast attended the premiere in Singapore on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
The moment that should have been sweet was marred by an unpleasant incident when a fan suddenly approached Ariana Grande who was walking on the yellow carpet at Universal Studios Singapore.
According to People, Grande was walking with her co-stars Cynthia Erivo, Michelle Yeoh, and Jeff Goldblum. During the moment, a man approached the " We Can't Be Friends " singer and attempted to embrace her.
The man tried to pull Grande closer to him, but the incident was also seen by Cynthia Erivo who immediately separated the two and shouted at the man. Security then immediately pulled the man away from Grande and the others.
Ariana Grande, visibly shocked by the incident, gasped as Erivo and Yeoh guarded the singer. This man has been identified as a frequent disruptor at celebrity events.
Before Grande, he jumped on stage at a Katy Perry concert. Ariana Grande previously missed the Wicked: For Good premiere due to security concerns. She admitted she tried to make it but her schedule didn't allow for it.
