ADOR announced the latest status of their partnership with NewJeans. On Monday (December 29, 2025), management announced that Danielle's contract had been canceled.

"We have decided that it will be difficult to continue together as NewJeans members and ADOR artists (with Danielle)," the agency HYBE Labels said in an official statement.

"Today we announce the cancellation of his exclusive contract," ADOR continued. The details of the discussions with Danielle weren't provided.

However, ADOR explained that discussions regarding the continuation of NewJeans were held with members' parents. Meanwhile, the four members of NewJeans—Minji, Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein—continued their contracts with ADOR.

Discussions with the four members didn't reach a dead end like they did with Danielle. Danielle's departure from ADOR and NewJeans marks the end of the dispute between the artist and the agency.

They have been at odds since 2024. The issue initially seemed resolved. Especially after the court ruled on October 30, 2025 that NewJeans' contracts with ADOR and HYBE would remain valid until 2029.

There was a sense of peace between the NewJeans members and the agency at the time. However, contract discussions apparently continued, and Danielle decided to leave. Danielle's side has not yet spoken.
